how to install statistics and machine learning toolbox

164 views (last 30 days)
I want to install statistics and machine learning toolbox to my MATLAB.
I click on add-ons and then search for the toolbox. Then it asks me to log in to install. When I click on log in, it takes hours without response. I have already installed communication toolbox the same way. But this time I cannot figure out what is going wrong.
My internet connection is working.
How can I fix this issue?

Hi Roohollah,
I understand that you are unable to log in while trying to install “Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox” in MATLAB, despite having a working internet connection. Assuming the sign in issue to be happening for this specific toolbox.
This issue might be due to several reasons, problems with your MathWorks account, license status or software conflicts on your computer. Here are few steps that might be of help:
  • Make sure that your MathWorks Account is active and that your MATLAB license is linked to your account. You can check this by logging into your account on the MathWorks website. Here is the link - https://in.mathworks.com/licensecenter/licenses/add?s_tid=gn_aslc#
  • Sometimes, firewall or antivirus software can interfere with the installation process. Try disabling these temporarily and see if you can install the toolbox. Remember to enable them back after you are done.
  • If you are on a corporate or university network, there might be restrictions that are preventing the installation. If possible, try using a different network or contact your license administrator (someone in your school or company's IT department) and ask them for permission to download, install, and use Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox”.
