ANN Pattern Recognition Model for Predicting one Output Variable

1 view (last 30 days)
I am trying to develop a pattern-recognition ANN model to predict one output variable based on three input variables. When I try to define the output variable, I get an error: no valid workspace variable. Can I have only one output variable or do I need more than one?

I understand that you are getting the error: "no valid workspace variable" when trying to import the output variable in the pattern recognition app. Since this is a classification problem, the response variable should be a vector of zeros and ones, only then it can be recognized as a response variable. The output variable value of one would mean that the input feature vector belongs to the class and zero means it does not.
Hope this heps!
