digital twin for wind turbines

14 views (last 30 days)
I am srikanth doing research on the wind turbine control. i am planning to to do the work on digital twin applications to wind trubines. Currently, i am working on 5 MW wind turbine matlab/simulink full non linear model. Is there any possibilty to explain about digital twin from scratch, since i am new to this concept. If you have any lead could you please let me know

Dear Yiza,
I understand that you are new to digital twin concept, and you are facing issues with 5 MW wind turbine MATLAB/Simulink full non-linear model.
Digital twin is a virtual representation or a digital replica of a physical object, process, or system. It helps evaluate the asset's current state and predict future behavior, enabling control refinement and operational optimization. These models use physics-based or statistical approaches and incorporate real-time asset data for accurate tuning.
