I cant sign in using my university account. and seem to be stuck in a loop

When i try to sign in with my university account I get prompted with "finish creating your profile provide the following information". One of the fields is for email, and when i type the email Im trying to sign in with I get the message "A MathWorks Account already exists with that email address. Please choose a different email address or log in." taking me back to square one. Any solutions?

I'm not quite sure when you get the popup. After entering your email address? Then it would be weird to provide another email afterwards. It seems like you try to register a new account.

Here are some things you can try:

1. Use a different browser (or incognito tab) and try to log in there
2. Check you email spam folder
3. Click on the "log in" in th error message (you seem to have done that already)
4. You can try to reset your password with the following link. Maybe this resets something or at least sends you an email with more information (https://mathworks.com/mwaccount/profiles/password/forgot). Also do not forget to check the spam folder now.
5. If nothing helps, contact mathworks support. They will be able to fix your problem, or tell you what is wrong (Mathworks support link: https://www.mathworks.com/support/contact_us.html)
