Hello, I'm using matlab R2023a, and I'm willing to create a local cluster to perform parameter estimation(my data breakpoints are quiet a lot up to 29), with some other computers at my office having the same matlab version installed. I used the matlab client(my own computer) to create a Matlab Job Scheduler cluster profile. But the workers connected to the same wifi network as me can't find my cluster.
I tried to start the pool by running parpool() and I'm having the error bellow :
Can anyone help me fix this issue, also is there any full turorial or workshop available showing how to configure a local cluster. Thanks

I believe you need MATLAB Parallel Server in order to have other people be able to use your cluster.

To add to Walter's response:
- Parallel Computing Toolbox : Use Parallel Computing Toolbox if you want to parallelize your computations or use your GPU on your local machine. You can use all of the CPU cores or threads on your machine or your local GPU.
- MATLAB Parallel Server: With MATLAB Parallel Server, you can combine multiple machines and form a "cluster" that you can offload work to. You can use the provided MATLAB Job Scheduler or a 3rd party scheduler like Slurm, Grid, LSF, etc.
You can submit work to MATLAB Parallel Server from a MATLAB client that has Parallel Computing Toolbox. If you need help setting up MATLAB Parallel Server or are having issues with it, please reach out to our Installation and Licensing team:
