What is role of Three Phase Converter(consist of six mosfet) in Generator mode(Regen mode)?
I am using torque control method in ipmsm.the model has to be work motor mode and generator mode.
in generator mode, how Three phase converter is worked.?
will converter use pwm signals in generator mode?

hi adhvan,
I guess you're confused between "inverter" and "converter". The power conversion is bidirectional in converter and is controlled via control systems such as field oriented control & corresponding PWM modulation techniques such as Space Vector Modulation. Refrer to an answer below to learn more.
I wrote the above for general purpose grid connected converters. When it comes to motors, the operation of generator control works same as motor mode. Converts mechanical energy into electrical energy & vice versa.
If implemented correctly, you can run the machine as motor & generator in either direction of rotation.
Pl refer to following examples to explore more. The first one has both motor and generator. Second one can be simulated in all four quadrants of operation. Third one has an old video explaining some more details:
Hope it helps.
Have a good day.
