Roadrunner reader simulink block throws id error

Hello,
Ubuntu 20.04
Matlab 2022b
I am getting started with the Roadrunner toolbox and integrating with Simulink. I have a roadrunner scenario and I would like to read the ego vehicle poses. I am following this guide but making my own simulator: https://www.mathworks.com/help/driving/ug/highway-lane-change-planner-with-roadrunner-scenario.html
I have an ego vehicle defined with ID 1 in my scenario.

However, on Simulink the roadrunner reader block (block at the bottom of screenshot) throws an error saying "actor with the given id ' ' is not defined". What should I do to fix this issue?

Hi Giancarlo,
I understand that you are facing an issue with the “RoadRunner Scenario Reader block”. To receive and process the actions or events from “RoadRunner Scenario” in Simulink, you must create a Bus Object and add it to the “RoadRunner Scenario” Block.
Please refer to the following documentation for further information,
Hope this helps!

Hi Renzo,
Is your MATLAB process connected with RoadRunner process? You can use the instructions on the following page to connect MATLAB and RoadRunner, so you can co-simulate your Simulink model with RoadRunner, by starting simulation from RoadRunner or MATLAB command line (not yet from Simulink run button):
