load flow not converging if the load type is constant PQ

load flow not converging if the load type is constant PQ while load flow solution with respect to other static load types converges to expected result. The non converging iterating results also seen greater than the specified mechanical input
.Please what could be the problem?
Thank you

This could be the possible reason:
  1. Improper initialization of the load flow: If the load flow is not initialized properly, it can lead to convergence issues. Make sure that the load flow is initialized with the correct starting values for the variables.
  2. Insufficient number of iterations: The load flow may require a larger number of iterations to converge when the load type is constant PQ. Increase the number of iterations to see if that helps.
  3. Incorrect modeling of generator or mechanical input: If the generator or mechanical input is not modeled properly, it can lead to convergence issues. Check the generator and mechanical input models to make sure they are accurate.

@Harsh Sanghai thank you for the positive idea
@ 1, the iterations converges in 20 sec for other static loads so i dont think is the problem of initialization
@ 2, the number of iterations was not specified, while loop was used to specify the error tolerance, and i also tried to reduce the tolerance but still same
@ 3, mechanical input was not modelled, a constant mechanical input was used, governor model was not implemented
Thank you
