How to link a control knob to a simscape potentiometer?

9 views (last 30 days)
I am wanting to create a pontentiometer that controls the pulse width of a square signal. One side is connected to V+, the other V-, not ground.
Simscape requires a knob interface to control the resistance, but I cannot find any other resources online to fix this issue. Everything I tried online has not come up with anything.
Here is what I know: I know that we must convert the simscape signal to simulink. Then, we must double click the knob and click on the converted signal. But when I do this part, it says that there is no parameters or values to edit.
To summarize: can someone walk me through how to control the resistance on the potentiometer? Thank you so much. I already searched the forums but couldn't find anything. Thank you so much for your time and patience.

Update: For the time being, I have a sine wave modulating the taper. You can see how the duty cycle changes over time.

You should be able to tie the knob to a constant value in simulink that then passed into a simulink to ps converter, and then pass that to the potentiometer.
