How do I add a left/right axis to a plot in matlab 2013a

5 views (last 30 days)
I would like to create another axis on my plot in MATLAB R2013a. It appears the the "yyaxis" function does this.
The "plotyy" function does not work for me as there are limitations in customization of the axes.
Is there any better and simple way to create another axis? N.B I have matlab 2013a version. thanks

If plotyy does not do what you want, then the only option is likely to upgrade to a later MATLAB release/version that uses yyaxis (preferably the latest release).

You find several corresponding FileExchange submissions: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange?q=plotyy
plotyy creates 2 axes objects. I cannot imagine, how this limits the customization iny any way.
