Hello,
I try to control PMSM motor using simulink and F28379D launchpad. Hardware and software details that i use below.
Hardware: TI F28379D launchpad+BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM+DT4260 PMSM
Software: Matlab 2021a+CCS 10.1+TI Control Suite 3.4.9+SoC Blockset Support Package for Texas Instruments C2000 Processor+Motor Control Blockst
The program "mcb_param_est_sensorless_f28379D_DRV8305" is builded and deployed successfully. Beside when i try to control pmsm and run using "mcb_param_est_host_read" model, this error appears below.
Serial communication failure detected. Error in 'mcb_param_est_host_read/Algorithm/SignalConditioning/ErrorConditions' (line 14) (error(message('mcb:blocks:SerialComFailure')));
I think this error may related to the serial port driver (XDS100_v1) but im not sure.
In order to solve this error, any comment or answer could be useful for me.
Thanks

In mcb_param_est_host_read, update the COM port in 3 blocks, Host Serial Setup, Host Serial Receive, Host Serial Transmit.
You can also follow the hyperlink provided in 'Steps' (annotations).
If you able to flash your software successfully in Launchpad using XDS100, it ensures XDS100 is fine in terms of hardware and driver.
