I tried to simulate a 3 phase surface mount PMSM motor with the real parameters. At first, I applied just a 3 phase voltage. I want to see the torque on the shaft in no load condition. So, I did not apply a torque on its shaft. However, I am reading a 0 toruqe in the measured parameters of the motor. Even without any load and torque, I should read a torque. Do you know what is the problem?
Thank you.

Hi Mohammad,
I understand that you are trying to simulate the motor for no load conditions by leaving the input torque terminal as it is.
As per documentation (Three-phase permanent magnet synchronous machine with sinusoidal or trapezoidal back electromotive force, or five-phase permanent magnet synchronous machine with sinusoidal back electromotive force - Simulink (mathworks.com)), the mode of operation (motor/generator) is determined by the value provided to the torque terminal (A positive torque signal indicates motor mode and a negative signal indicates generator mode). In your case, as the terminal is left as it is, the mode of operation is not set, leading to zero output torque.
