I suggest that we use a relatively newer block, the Battery Equivalent Circuit block, for modeling cycling aging: Battery Equivalent Circuit - Battery model with electro-thermal dynamics and optional faults - MATLAB.

Here is an example on how to use this block for modeling cycling aging, especially considering temperature and rate effect on cycling aging: Model Battery Cycling Aging - MATLAB & Simulink.
