The Mechanics Explorer does not currently support a full screen borderless mode for the simulation view.
If the simulation does not need to be interactive, then the simulation can be viewed in fullscreen by using the Mechanics Explorer Video Creator to create a video that can be played in a 3rd party video player.
Documentation on Video Creator:
If the simulation does need to be interactive, then there are few things that can be done to increase the simulation view area:
1. The visibility of the build tree can be toggled by clicking the small black triangles between the build tree window and the view window.
2. Part of the toolbar can be hidden by right clicking it and unchecking 'Mechanics Explorer Toolbar'.
The topmost part of the toolbar and the simulation play menu will always be visible.
