Why is the Profiler tool not opening?

Hi,

I am trying to optimise some functions that run within a gui. I want to use the profiler, but it does not run - either from the command line or from the Analyze tab. This is what it looks like when I try to run it - empty white box that doesn't load up:

I have tried doing a clean reinstall of the latest Matlab version, but it has not helped.

Any ideas?

Could it be anything to do with these function name confilcts?

Hi, so I'm also facing this issue, and the only resolution I've found so far is to completely reinstall MATLAB? Someone else also asked this question : Profiler will not open - MATLAB Answers - MATLAB Central (mathworks.com). I encountered this problem in R2021b, so I installed R2022b, but the profiler will still not open ..

Hi Arpad. I found that doigna full clean install of the latest version helped. This means uninstalling and deleting all files and folders associated with Matlab and then installing it like it had never been on the computer. I hope this helps
