How to uninstall matlabengineforpython for R2020b?

I switched from R2020b to R2022b. I previously had matlabengineforpython for R2020b installed, now I just installed the matlabengine that works for R2022b through pip.

I want to uninstall the matlabengineforpython for R2020b, and when I do that, I get the following error. How should I uninstall it properly?

ERROR: Cannot uninstall 'matlabengineforpython'. It is a distutils installed project and thus we cannot accurately determine which files belong to it which would lead to only a partial uninstall.
