Why does MATLAB crash when docking the MATLAB Editor, Live Editor, or Help Browser on macOS 13 (Ventura)?

When running MATLAB on macOS 13 Ventura, undocking and then redocking the MATLAB Editor, Live Editor, or Help Browser causes MATLAB to crash. This is an issue with MATLAB running through Rosetta on Apple silicon machines (M1 chips) and on Intel Macs.

This is a bug that involves MATLAB crashing on macOS when redocking the live editor. The live editor can be successfully undocked, but when it is redocked it causes a crash. When MATLAB is reopened, the window is still undocked.
This only seems to occur on macOS 13, mostly on the Apple Silicon CPUs (M1, M2, etc.) and has been observed in R2022b, R2022a, and R2021b.
You can follow the bug report for this from the link below, which states that updating R2022b to Update 4 or R2022a to Update 6 will resolve the issue.

This is also happening to me, on a 2018 macbook pro with intel i5 cpu. It only started after installing the R2022b Update 3 update (when I was on the "Update 2" it was fine).
This is severly limiting my usage of Matlab, please advise.
I should also note that the "Matlab Crash Reporter" that pops up after Matlab Crashes doesn't work. It will not let me submit a crash report without putting in my email address, however it also does not let me type anything in the email address text box! My crash report is attached here.

Hi all,
I've found that, having opened an editor tab, if you go to "Layout -> Default" it will crash again, but at least, opening again Matlab, the editor won't be undocked anymore.
Macbook M1Pro, Matlab 2022b.
