Please I don't know how to build the aspect having the atan2(u(2).u(1))

Please I build this model but I don't understand the aspect of flux angle direct control having this atan2(u(2).u(1)).Please guide me.

this type of control needs to know the rotor angle (technically it just needs and estimate of it depending on how you approach things) and this model is using atan to solver for that angle.
