Hi everyone! For some unknown reason, hotkeys do not work in the editor and command window. When I select the hotkey editor in the settings, for example Ctrl+W... I'm trying to set Ctrl+W, i press Ctrl+W but Matlab displays it as Ctrl+[]. So it's like it can't understand the symbol. Plz help. It's impossible to work without Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+C, etc.
OS: Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS x86_64

Any update on this issue? I'm having the same problem and nothing I try works.
I use MATLAB 2023b on Linux Mint.
Thanks!

Hi @Yoav, the issue seems to be related to keyboard layout. Can you let me know what language keyboard you are using ? Also please try using on-screen English-US keyboard and check if the issue persists.

I believe keyboard shortcuts are not working because of the following reasons:
  1. Unsupported keyboard layout.
  2. Unsupported OS. Pop!_OS is not supported by MATLAB.
I have been using Ubuntu 22.04 OS for running MATLAB and all the keyboard shortcuts run as intended.
The system requirements can be cross-checked through the link given below:
Changing keyboard layout at OS level can help as well.
