Hi, I am simulating the article that I attached. I don't why the parameters are not converged. The article is about estimate parameters of li-ion battery by Extremum seeking algorithm.

unfortunately, your question is too open ended to be answered well in a forum like this. If you can refine your problem to something more specific, the community will have a better chance to help you. Looking at your model, the model seems to work properly, but the algorithm hasn't been implemented as you expected. That could be because there is a bug in your implementation. But there could also be a typo in the paper or a limit in the paper's quality of algorithm. I can't deduce those without doing a deep dive into this particular paper, so you will have to figure out which is most likely and try to isolate the problem. I would recomend unit testing every small piece of your model individually to make sure they behave as you would expect them to. If you have specific questions about the MathWorks tools along the way, please feel free to post those.

I am stuck in the algorithm of equation 10 , 11 and 12 (Remark 1). Due to the system need differentiate between the two time scales. I do not know how simulate a system with two time scale in simulink. I defined a FOR loop in simulink for eq 10-12, but the parameters are not updated.

I do not know how apply this : " At the end of each learning interval [(I−1)T,IT], i.e., when k∆T = IT, update the values of the parameters δRˆ s , δRˆ c, δCˆ d, δCˆmax as the last values attained by ˆδRˆ s , ˆδRˆ c, ˆδCˆ d, ˆδCˆmax. hmmm, there are a few ways to approach this. First, if you need different time scales simulated, you can use rate transition blocks to control the timing. Also, you can use a matlab function block in Simulink, which would probably be easier program to accomplish what you want instead of trying to figure it out in Simulink.
