Limit User Input to EditField Value in App Designer

Hi,

I would like to limit the numbers the user can enter to an "Edit Field (Numeric)" in app designer. The value property has "Limits" that can be set but if the user still ends up entering a number for example smaller than the lower limit it will still display the number entered by the user.

So I basically want the value entered to automatically change to the lowest number possible (from Limits) if the users enters a number smaller than that.

Is writing code the only way to do that?

It's not possible because there is no callback related to a trigger like that - there is no "EditFieldValueChanging", but only "EditFieldValueChanged".
