I receive components from suppliers or other groups that are compliant to the functional mockup interface (FMI) and need to integrate these components into my Simulink model for design optimization, system simulation and testing. How can I do this?

With MATLAB R2017b and beyond, Simulink supports simulation and integration workflows using the Functional Mockup Interface (FMI). The FMI import block allows you to import Functional Mockup Units (FMU) version 1.0 or version 2.0 into a Simulink model and supports Model-Exchange and Co-simulation. Please refer to the following link for more information:
If your Simulink version is older than MATLAB R2017b, please consider upgrading. The previously available Pilot Support Package (PSP) has been stabilized and is no longer being developed. For more information please contact MathWorks Technical Support.
