We use some "Matrix MXE-3000" Series Embedded PC. So I have to create an CF Card for the System. Since Matlab 2020b there is no more option to create such a "bootable disk" just "connect, update software.." (wich isn't working with 2020a) and so on. In FAQ i found, that since 2020b and above, there is only a "speedgoat" hardware supportet. Is it true that we can't use our existing hardware in our university labs (many devices!) since Matlab2020a? So we have to buy "speegoat" hardware (how much does it cost) or is there some to convert or "work thru"?

Hi Jan,
That's correct: support for custom target hardware has actually already been removed from Simulink Real-Time in R2018a. Starting from that release, only Speedgoat target machines are supported.
For more information, have a look at www.speedgoat.com and at the Release Notes for Simulink Real-Time.
Best,
Dimitri
