I have put together the model wiwth three ac voltage sources but since there is no ground in the delta configuration, the model does not find a solution.

Can it be done like I have described, a dekta system with the foundation library ac voiltage sources?

Hi Jose,

For modeling three phases systems with balanced delta load, we highly recommend Simscape Electrical, which has existing blocks for three phase source and delta load.

To build such a model with Simscape Foundation Library only, two AC voltage sources would need to be managed to create 120 deg phase shift. For every Simscape model with electrical elements, there must be an Electrical Reference block. In this case, the Electrical Reference can be connected to the whole circuit through a wye load with large resistance.
