MRI Sustentorial brain extraction with MATLAB

2 views (last 30 days)
Dear all,
I need to extract the sustentorial part of the brain from ASL perfusion MRI data to calculate perfusion. Is there any function or code on MATLAB that could help me?
Your help is well appreciated.
Best,
Abir.

look for Mathworks Image Processing Toolbox to get access to the source data probably in DICOM format

Thank you for your responses.
In fact, I have patients who are being treated for brain tumors in the posterior fossa, I want to measure the perfusion in the supratentorial part of the brain to quantify the effect of radiotherapy. The problem is that I am still a beginner with MATLAB, and the automatic segmentation does not allow me to have only the supratentorial part. So I don't know if there are other functions that allow me to segment the brain and have only the supratentorial part, to use it later as a mask to calculate the perfusion.
Knowing that my volumes are in nifti and not in DICOM format.
