Not responding when opening, MacOS Mojave10.14.6, MATLAB2020_a

I'm using R2020a and when I open matlab on my macbook air it just freezes as soon as the window opens and makes me force quit it.
I've tried checking System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility tab (nothing was there btw), typing /Applications/MATLAB_R2020a.app/bin/matlab -nodesktop and desktop on terminal. It's no use. I've added MATLAB permission to all disk, but it still doesn't work.

Could you provide information on your CPU usage when you are launching MATLAB?
Is the MATLAB crashing after opening?

Hi!
It seems that you're facing difficulties with MATLAB freezing and requiring force quit when you try to open it on your MacBook Air running R2020a. I’m assuming that MATLAB is not crashing, and the CPU usage is not reaching 100%.
Since you mentioned that you checked the Accessibility tab and found that there was nothing listed there, one potential solution is to manually add MATLAB to the Accessibility list.
If adding MATLAB to the Accessibility list doesn't resolve the issue, you may need to use a process of elimination to identify which application is causing MATLAB to freeze. Often, it could be an application that retrieves and modifies information about other application windows. To find more information about the potential causes of MATLAB freezing and possible workarounds, you can refer to the following link:
In some cases, this issue can be caused by a third-party window-snapping utility called Magnet, which macOS users can install from the App Store. If you have Magnet installed, try configuring it to "Ignore MATLAB" in its settings. This might help resolve the freezing issue. If the problem persists even after adjusting Magnet's settings, you can refer to the following link for further assistance:
Hope this helps.
