How does Model Advisor determine the default configuration ?

4 views (last 30 days)
I would like to ask if you can tell me how does the Model Advisor determine the default configuration (which checks it will run) for a given model ?
Is it smart and should I trust it, or should I always specify the tests to run myself ?
Thanks.

Hi Mohamed-Marwan,
I understand that you want to run a particular set of checks every time on a model and wish to know how the default configuration is set up to address this, thereby removing the need to select the checks each time.
You can create your own custom default configuration using the "Model Advisor Configuration Editor" found in the Model Advisor drop-down in the Modelling tab. Save the configuration as a JSON file and mark it as the default configuration.
Every time you open the ‘Model Advisor’ app after changing the default configuration, it will fetch the checks from the new configuration file, allowing you to directly 'Run' all the desired checks with a single click. If the Model Advisor doesn't load your saved configuration file automatically, you can 'Open' the desired configuration JSON file from the specific location using the 'Open' button in the ribbon.
To learn more about the Model Advisor Configuration, kindly refer to the following documentation:
I hope this was helpful.
Regards,
Shivam.
