Low image resolution importing images in imageLabeler

When I import my images in the imageLabeler to label them, their resolution decreases automatically and I don't know why. Some of them become too blurred that I can't even recognize the objects myself. Is the app doing this to reduce computational cost or is it some kind of error? My version is R2021b.

Hello,
I understand that you want to know why the images seem to have lower resolution once you import them into the ‘Image Labeler’ App.
In the ‘Image Labeler’app of MATLAB R2021b, the original resolution of imported images should not decrease automatically. The app should not automatically reduce the resolution of images, but it does zoom the image to fit to view. If your actual image is very small in size, then this zooming in of the image can cause the blurredness in the ‘Image Labeler’ App.
Moreover, this zoomed version of the image is shown in the ‘Image Labeler’ App only and does not affect the resolution of the original image.
For images of very large size, you can import the image as ‘blocked image’ to have a clear block wise view of the entire image.
Refer to the following documentation to understand more about importing very large size images.
Hope this clears your query!
