When chromaticity diagram meets a line

2 views (last 30 days)
Hi,
I used Matlab to plot a chromaticity diagram, then I plotted a line with a function y=ax+b with known a and b.
I am just wondering for the two points p1 and p2 where the line meets the chromaticity diagram, how to get the x and y values of p1 and p2?

  1. Describe the diagram border as a polygon. That just means you need to get the sequence of points on the boundary, IN SEQUENCE, as a closed curve.
  2. Use a tool like Doug Schwarz's intersections code, as found on the file exchange.

Try diving into the code:
>> edit plotChromaticity.m
See what you can learn from that.
