Error of minimum of a parabola auto fitted

Hi, this is more a statistic question. I have to find the minimum of a complex distribuition. So I decided to select the values close to the minimum (evaulueted by myself) and do an automatic fitting of a parabola trough the 2 points before and the 2 after the point of minimum. Then I found the minimum by the formula of the equation .

The problem is that I dont know what error best fit the result. The fitting box gave me some parameters of the goodness of the fit but I don't know how to enterpretate them...

to the first point : try to locate the local minima of your data with islocalmin

to the second point : R² tells you how the data and the fitted model are matching (close to 0 poor match, close to 1 best match)
