MATLAB Onramp. Ch 9 covers plotting, but you may need some of the earlier chapters to know how to set it all up.

t = -10:0.1:10 ;
y = 3*t.^2 + 2*t - 0.5 ;
plot( t , y , 'linewidth' ,1.5)
xline( 0 )
yline( 0 )
xlabel('\bf t', 'Fontsize', 18, 'Fontweight','bold');
ylabel( '\bf y' , 'Fontsize', 18, 'Fontweight','bold');
set(gca , 'Linewidth' , 1.2 ,'Fontsize',18,'FontWeight','bold', 'Box','on')
set(gcf , 'color','w' , 'WindowState' , 'Maximize')
This is plotted from -10 to 10 with a step of 0.1
