Hi all,
I use Simulink Requirements tool to process my project requirements.
Original input document we use as the input for the development is a Requirement Specification in Word 'docm' format which stores VBA macroses inside the same document.
But the Simulink Requirements tool disallows import of 'docm', but wants 'docx' or older 'doc' format.
From other side, I can't save the docm file as just docx, because VBA macroses will be removed, and this will break our document management chain - I have to use macroses in my documentation.
Right now I have found a workaround - I store the 'docm' file just as older 'doc' file which supports macroses also, but I'm not sure if this is a good approach for a long-term projects in my case.
I work with medical devices (IEC 62304) and have to follow VERY strict processes and documentation rules.
Any advise would be highly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi Roman,
Currently we are not supporting import of macro enabled Word document 'docm' format in Simulink Requirements. I have brought this issue to the notice of the concerned people and it might be considered for a future release.
