transfer of licence from a old pc to a new pc

Hi, I forgot to remove the licence from my last pc. And I already gave my pc back to someone. And I already reset that computer. Is there anyway that matlab can transfer that licence to my current pc?

Yes.

• Open your license center: https://www.mathworks.com/mwaccount/
• Click on the concerned license (the number in the table under the term "License").
• Select the tab "Install an activate"
• On the right side there is the link "Deactivate a computer"

Afterwards a new activation should be easy.

Is the number of license transfer limited ? or is it possible to transfer the license between personal PCs as many times as needed ?

The number of license transfers is limited.

If I recall correctly, the limit is 2 times per year for Student licenses, and 4 times per year for Standard (commercial) licenses.

I believe that the limit is also twice per year for Home licenses.
