Plot 12 waves in one plot

I have a matrix "Mx" with size 12x1000. Each row contain certian wave.
I want to plot all the 12 waves in one plot window...
subplot not allowing all 12.
What to do ?

Does
>> plot(Mx')
give you something like what you want? [Don't neglect the transpose of the array, or you will get 1000 lines instead of 12.]
