Hello All... I am using PID controller auto tunning at simulink for my plant. But I do not know how it tune the coefficients of Kp, Ki and Kd or it better to say on which criterion does it tune the coefficients? Is the given coefficients the best? If anybody knows, please help me. thanks a lot

There are no "best" coefficients. When you design a controller, you typically have design requirements, and you tune the controller to meet those requirements. PID Tuner tries to design fastest possible controller while still giving you 60 degrees of phase margin. You can use the sliders to fine tune your design to meet your specific requirements.
