Hi,
I'm running Matlab 2021a on a MacbookAir with a M1 chip. A bug-free code runs at a decent speed and without problems but as soon as I get an error, Matlab gets really slow. I usually get a notification sound for a bug first but have to wait another 10sec or so until the actual error message appears. In this time I can't interact with any other part of the interface. Interacting with the code after that is also not possible and sometimes takes a minute or more until it is. This seems to be worse if a plot is involved.
Does anyone else have this issue?
I checked CPU and RAM usage and both are never at high levels during this time.

Hello,
With the new MacOS 11.4, we have discovered an issue with slow start times and sluggish interaction when launching MATLAB from the Dock or Finder. As a workaround for this issue, you may start MATLAB through the terminal.
