Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to drive a load (like a flywheel) using a PMSM motor in Simulink and how this can be done. I need to simulate a car being driven by the PMSM in a simplified way. I was planning on using a flywheel model to store the car's energy at a certain speed and I would make the flywheel drive the PMSM mechanically when braking. I can't find any information on how to link such a load to the motor. Currently, when I brake, I can only regenerate the energy coming from slowing down the motor itself.
Thank you.

I would really like to help you, but I was wondering if you first try to describe what exactly you did for regeneration while braking.
