Hello
I wanted a clarification on SVM (Support Vectors Machines). In svmtrain function you can specify the method for the separation hyperplane between QP, SMO and LS, one might better explain the method LS (Least-Squares)?
Thanks

Hi, Least Squares Support Vector Machines (LS-SVM) are reformulations to the standard SVMs which lead to solving linear KKT systems. LS-SVMs are closely related to regularization networks and Gaussian processes but additionally emphasize and exploit primal-dual interpretations [http://www.esat.kuleuven.be/sista/lssvmlab/].
