The exp function works for complex inputs:

>> z = 1 + 2i
z =
   1.0000 + 2.0000i
>> exp(z)
ans =
  -1.1312 + 2.4717i

sir i have an array with first column as the magnitude and second column as the argument(in radian) in a text file(that i have loaded). I want to combine them as ({mag).*exp(j(arg))} How can i get this?
