configuration of Capture compare module of a microcontroller using MATLAB and Simulink

Is it possible to configure the registers of the capture compare module in a microcontroller using matlab and simulink software. For Example, Capture compare module is used in acquiring the signal coming from Crankshaft position sensor, by configuring the CCP registers, is the similar thing possible by using matlab/simulink.
