I have nearly 5 functions. One function reads and later import the excels sheet and inside it i have embedded split function which splits the excel sheet into data/textdata/slno. After that iam providing 3 options to user in the same program. for eg: case 1 : plot pressure contour; case 2 : plot vorticity and so on... How to do it in gui.
Moreover, after selecting an option my programs executes another 2 set of function and comes to last function which is plotcontour(). Here iam asking user whether he/she wants to do filled colormap or unfilled colormap contour. How to program this as well in gui because these are cases where iam expecting user input not designer input.
Thanks

You can either have checkboxes and radio buttons on your GUI, like MAGIC, or you can popup questions at the appropriate time using functions like menu(), questdlg(), and inputdlg(). Please view this short video: http://blogs.mathworks.com/videos/category/gui-or-guide/

You could use a pushbotton or a checkbox
