Session-based DAQ: logging data to disk directly from the device

Hi!
I am trying to rewrite some of my scripts from Legacy Interface in Session-Based Interface, and I am actually missing something. I'm sure it is right in front of me, but I don't see it! :p
So I am acquiring data from a National Instruments board and I would like the data to be saved directly on the disk, without going through "Matlab's memory".
With the Legacy Interface, I just had to write this, for example:
- set(ai,'LoggingMode','Disk');
- set(ai,'LogToDiskMode','Overwrite');
- set(ai,'LogFileName',MyLogFileName);
But in the Session-based Interface, I can't find how to configure my session to do so... Can someone help me please? Thanks a lot.
Regards
Luc

Hi,
Unfortunately logging to disk is not available in the session based interface.

See though http://www.mathworks.com/products/daq/code-examples.html?file=/products/demos/shipping/daq/demo_compactdaq_background_acquisition_data_log.html which shows how to create your own logging to disk.

You can contact MathWorks and let them record that as an Enhancement request. As more people ask for a feaure it's more likely to happen I guess ;)
