java.lang.​RuntimeExc​eption: on starting matlab

Hi, I am getting the following error when I m starting Matlab R2013a. java.lang.RuntimeException: com.mathworks.services.settings.settingValidationException:IMsgIDException for "matlab.desktop.currentfolder.lastsearch.GroupColumn":InternalError: Error create a temp directory under directory \\free......\userdata$..
It seems I have given the path of a temporary file in one of the program which is having some problem while reloading....Please suggest some solution

I figured out the issue finally...........There was no space in the directory mentioned \\free... So after deleting some files from it to create some space. The error didnt occur.

Go to Settings, then to Region, then change the region to your current location and also to regional format
