Administering Organizational Licenses
R2026bOrganizations that need to deploy MathWorks product licenses for a small number of users or devices can deploy either Individual Licenses (for named users) or Designated Computer Licenses (for specific devices). To deploy licenses to many users, organizations can use a Concurrent License, which provides a specified number of license keys that users temporarily check out when they use products. Alternatively, organizations can use a Network Named User License, which names specific users who can run the software. To manage license checkouts, Concurrent and Network Named User Licenses require a license server. MathWorks also provides specialized academic licenses for students, staff, and faculty in academic organizations.
