Senior Application Engineer- Electrification

Leverage your technical and interpersonal skills to advise and help our leading customers within Power Electronics System development. Work with the latest tools and techniques to support the industry trends around system simulation and analysis, verification and validation and implementations. You will be working with world's most innovative companies in a wide range of industries including automation and machinery, power transmission and distribution, transportation, and renewable energy. Collaborate with colleagues from development, sales and marketing to drive industry adoption of MathWorks solutions.

Responsibilities
- Understanding the key business and technical challenges of our customers and developing actionable plans to support them
- Solving challenging analysis and modelling problems for a breadth of applications
- Supporting adoption of MATLAB and Simulink by analysing customers’ requirements, deliver presentations, guiding product evaluations and creating proof of concepts
- Identifying new trends and collaborating with the worldwide team to develop compelling messages and demonstrations
- Advocating for the future direction of MathWorks products
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience from relevant industry development projects
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink or similar tools
- Ability to travel to customers, mainly in the Nordic countries and the UK
