Impact in Action
MathWorks partners with a range of global STEM outreach initiatives, from curriculum development and nonprofit organizations to university-led programs. Below are a few examples of the programs we support. All share a commitment to engaging students and educators with active learning using MATLAB and Simulink.
Middle school curriculum that brings real-world engineering problems into the classroom; students use MATLAB to extend their understanding of engineering challenges
Year-round workshops introduce high school students to data collection, programming, data analysis, and image processing using MATLAB; designed to support experiential learning in Japanese classrooms
International event during which students build program robots using Simulink; practical engineering skills are developed through completing creative challenges
High school curriculum that introduces engineering design principles to a new generation of students; students explore programming as a problem-solving tool in engineering using MATLAB
