Model 802.11 wireless LAN standards in MATLAB® with WLAN System Toolbox™. 802.11 is a set of wireless networking standards developed by the IEEE. They govern how you connect Wi-Fi-enabled devices around the home or at the office. The most commonly used standards are 802.11a, b, g, n, and ac, together with newer standards such as 802.11j, p, ah, and ad. WLAN System Toolbox provides MATLAB functions for the design, modeling, simulation, analysis, and testing of these standards. Examples provided in the toolbox help you get started quickly. They include waveform generation, transmitter and receiver measurements (such as spectral emission mask and EVM), end-to-end link modeling with fading channel models, and packet recovery.
