Manual Parameter Tuning | Power Plant Model Validation (PPMV) with MATLAB and Simulink, Part 3
From the series: Power Plant Model Validation (PPMV) with MATLAB and Simulink
You can work interactively within the MATLAB® and Simulink® environments to manually adjust parameters based on engineering judgement and insights gained from the analysis of the simulated responses from active-power and reactive-power (PQ) replay and voltage and frequency (VF) replay. By combining both replay paradigms, you can get deeper insights on the effect of parameter changes on system response. In the gas plant example, observations are made based on simulated frequency response and reactive-power response which suggest which key parameters are candidates for modification. Once manual adjustments have been made, the parameters may be submitted to automated parameter estimation.
