Port Connection Cues in Simulink
You can now use visual cues in your model to find compatible elements. You can also connect elements using two clicks instead of dragging.
You can highlight a port by clicking it. Compatible ports that you can connect to appear highlighted. As you move the cursor closer to a port, a preview of the connection appears. To make the connection, click the preview or the port you want to connect.
You can also now easily create a branch. After you click a port, move your cursor near a compatible line segment. A preview of the connection appears. Click to complete the connection. You can alternatively click the line first and then move toward the port to create the branch.
You can make multiple consecutive connections, for example, to branch off a new connection. Hold Shift and click the element you want to connect to. To make another connection, move the cursor toward the next element, and then click.
