Maximilian Wick and Christoph Hahn introduce you to the concept of vehicle modeling with the IPG CarMaker and its interface to Simulink. Watch as they review the benefits of vehicle modeling and its potential to reduce testing time and increase car performance. In a software demo, a co-simulation between a 3D CFD simulation interfaced to the aerodynamics module of CarMaker using Simulink is shown. You'll be guided through the process of setting up a vehicle model, conducting the simulations, and post-processing the results for optimized race car setup.
